So. I would love to rate this book higher because I really enjoyed it but there are some things that I just can not agree with.

First the good stuff!

Pros

#1: The sex was great!

#2: The storyline was good and interesting. I don't usually like strippers but the girls were interesting and kept my attention.

#3: Short read but captivating.

#4: All the girls, even the one who was supposed to be the villain, were great girls! They all had some internal struggles and they all pissed me off every now and again, not just the hater who was pinned as the bad guy. SPOILER! Lauren was an idiot on so many levels, pretending to be smart, Donita was REALLY damaged goods and Sydney was changed for the worse. All of them had a come to the light moment but it meant something different for all of them. I do not think there was a "bad" character or villain in the book. Oh, in my opinion, Donita's story line was the best.

Cons

#1: As an avid reader and writer I can not agree with grammar, punctuation and formatting errors. This book was released in three parts, as it seems. Maybe they could have touched it up for the Complete Series. For instance, as a direct quote from the book: "The rage through my body wanted to my fist to punch my face like security did Collin", extra words and not a clear sentence. Another, "Standing up from the table I went to my room and turned on some music and stripped for myself." over use of the word AND, also this sentence needed some commas to slow it down. Clearly, this would have been caught by an editor or even a re-read from the author or a friend. I can't tolerate this in a PAID book, so that's minus a star off top. There was at least one typo in each chapter, extra words, improper wording, etc. Also, Lauren is Laura on the first page.

#2: The ending left me soooooooooooooooo devastated. I felt like I read all that for nothing. SPOILER, DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU WANT THE ENDING TO BE A SURPRISE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I am all for a twist ending but that ending left me all pissed off. I saw everyones changes, yea, for the good and bad, but why was I still left hanging? What happens to Sydney in the Room of Vicious? Is Lauren going to find a good man in Bruce? Is Syd and Lauren's friendship really over? Is Donita really going to give herself to GOD as she said when she thought her life was in danger? There is one thing to leave a little cliffhanger but this is ridiculous to me. I want more clarity, ESPECIALLY since this is "The complete series". I know there is nothing else to come in another book or something like that. Every ending doesn't have to be cheerful and bright, but this was just sad to me. As I said, I was devastated. In my opinion, Donita was the only one who had an ending that I could feel was truly the end and new beginning for her, which I feel is what the author was trying to make clear to the reader, about each character. Minus 1/2 a star for that ending.

#3: The other 1/2 star minus is for the absence of time in the story. Everything seemed to happen in one day. The transitions were good but it seemed to me that it had only been three days throughout the whole book. I think a point should have been made to more directly help the reader with understanding the time. I also think that its not totally feasible that all this happened in a week. Yea a strippers life is hectic but that is a lot of crap in one week. Minus 1/2 a star for not making time flow clear.

So OVERALL: I would recommend this book. If you can read through the format and grammar issues you got a killer story, some good sex, and interesting characters. I would love and BEG the author for more of a finisher on the ending, but I did really enjoy this book.

I want to start by saying I did enjoy this book. This is book one in the series, and I could tell the author was newer in her writing, which isn’t a bad thing at all. I think the story could’ve been fleshed out a bit more. It wasn’t the best thing since sliced bread, but it definitely deserves to be spread

Interesting and I...

Interesting and I...

think it has potential for a good story but it's too soon to tell. I'm not sure it was strong enough for me to get the rest of the story.
