Accuracy and Precision for Long Rang Shooting is a book for riflemen who are interested in understanding the important elements of their craft. The book focuses on exploring the uncertainties and inaccuracies of real world shooting so you can make well informed decisions about how to improve your hit percentage in any scenario.
I gave Bryan Litz five stars based on his knowledge and content alone. This book is an excellent reference for really getting into the world of long range shooting. Bryan gives extreme detail in how to build a rifle and zero optics to get the tightest shot spreads at the longest ranges. I honestly was over my head with this book, I shoot a lot but not so much at extreme range. For all of you math brained shooters this is an excellent resource. I could not get through the whole thing but what is great about this book I only read the parts I needed to read to get the info I was looking for. Great reference.
This book explains the challenges faced when shooting at long range, quantifies the effects of the numerous parameters effecting precision and accuracy and methods to minimize their effects.
