In “The Breaking Point,” Ray was an introverted, nerdy high school senior who was relentlessly humiliated by Aaron, the conceited captain of the basketball team. When Matt, the no-nonsense, scrappy newcomer entered the picture, sparks instantly flew (in more ways than one). However, it didn't take long for the two outcasts’ fledgling romance to set off a chain reaction of events that put their relationship to the test, turned their lives upside down, and ultimately, pushed them to the breaking point. Now, having weathered the storm of those events, Matt and Ray attempt to get on with their relationship and adjust to the new status quo. But will Aaron's quest for revenge, along with a sudden series of personal conflicts and unexpected complications, catapult our young couple right back to the breaking point...and beyond?Old friendships will be tested, new alliances will be formed, and relationships will be ruined. Reginald Write is a southern boy with a northern edge! Hailing from GA, he currently resides in NY. He is a versatile (bad pun intended) storyteller whose works feature compelling, complex, and sometimes completely crazy characters from all walks of life, who come in all shades and colors. When he's not binge-watching something on Netflix, he's probably busy working on his latest twisty, turny, thought-provoking tale.
Loved the first one and loved this one too. Mr. Write to me always write good stories. The story of the boys seem to finish at this point but l will definitely read another one if Mr Write writes it. It will be nice to see what drama they go through in College or if they made it that far at all. There doesn't seem to be a lot of m/m books about black boys in college. Or maybe am just looking in the wrong places. Anyway l highly recommended this one. I think you will be lost though if you start with this one so make sure to check book one, Breaking Point, first.
