Book review. Mudbaths and Bloodbaths: The Inside Story of the Bears-Packers Rivalry
Budbaths and bloodbaths is a great book to read. It talks about the great rivalry that two teams share. The packers and Bears have had a rivalry for many many years and this is the book that brings all these great stories and games into one amazing book. The author does a good job in bringing other people in to tell their stories and how they saw them happen, but there was always two sides. When there was a story the packers always had their way of telling the story and bears always had a way of telling it from there point of view. They both thought they were right. So the author does a good job in getting both sides of the story.

The author also does a great job in using great diction and explaining how each story happened. He always used the right words and never left anything dry. He wouldn’t say,” and then the guy hit the other guy.” He would say,” then the bears defender rushed at the packers offensive lineman and smashed his head into the ground”. He would use really good diction to really make the reader feel what they went though when it really happened. So overall it is a great book and I would recommend it to other because with all the great stories from theses two team it never gets boring.

A great look into the rivalry that keeps my blood pumping on game day! Only slightly biased towards the evil team (but to be expected from Wisconsin sportswriters,) this gives a super history of what makes this rivalry click. I can't deny I would love an updated version including the NFC championship game of this yer, since the book ended in '97 with the rivalry at a low point.
