This book was a disappointment probably due to my expectations and comparisons to other state documentation books. I did not see any information about how they found or chose the quilts to include and the organization was confusing. It is divided into sections: The Early Years, The Depression Years , The Middle Years, Recent years, and Historians and Collectors. Further definition about what those years are, specifically, was not given. Also, the quilts featured in each section did not necessarily correspond to the section titles!
There were some nice quilts and some interesting stories about them but overall I'd have to say it's a lightweight offering for an avid quilt historian.
