In my early teenage years, Andrew Matthews' book Being A Happy Teenager was one of my favourites. I loved that book and I read it over and over again. Despite my Dad's attempt to preserve it with a plastic cover, the pages eventually crumpled from the repeated reading. But I treasured my copy and I never bought a new one.

A few years later, my younger cousin sister, then a teenage girl, discovered the book from my bookshelf and she immediately fell in love with it. Upon her request, I gave her the book. She later told me that she tried the visualization technique from the book, and to her surprise, it really worked!

Since then, I've read a few more books and audio programs by Andrew. This book, Bouncing Back, is his latest one.

Andrew's writing is a delightful blend of simplicity, humor, and encouragement, using real-life stories as examples.

Like all his other books, this one has loads of Andrew's cartoons, a trademark in his works, which adds a whimsical touch and sometimes nail the ideas better than words can.

Another great book from Andrew Matthews!

I think the first five books already cover most of key messages he wants to share with readers. In book 7 and 8 " Happiness in Hard Times" and "Bouncing Back" he adds inspiring stories to illustrate his points, which help reinforce lessons that I have learnt so far!
I truly enjoy Andrew’s writing style—it’s simple, practical, and easy to relate to. While many of the ideas he discusses, such as the law of attraction, goal setting, positive thinking, and the power of now, may not be new, the way he presents them makes them feel fresh and applicable. His books are a gentle reminder that wisdom doesn’t always need to be complicated to be effective.

This is a delightful and inspiring read written in a simple easy to understand language. This is one of those books you can keep close by and dip into when times are hard.
Every page is a source of inspiration. A lot of the material has been mentioned in other books so there isn’t much new here. It is written in a very warm and helpful style with some funny cartoons to keep a smile on your face.
