Amanda was born into a large Irish-Italian family and raised in the leafy green suburbs of County Dublin, Ireland. After dabbling in a few different career paths, she finally found her calling as an author after winning an online writing competiton with her first finished novel. With three small daughters at home, her days are usually spent doing school runs, changing diapers and writing romance. She still considers herself unbelievably lucky to be able to call this her day-job.
As a fan of F1 and romance, I loved the premise of this book. Reserve driver, Nina Roux, gets passed up for a well deserved promotion to head driver and decides to confront the team's new owner, playboy Tristan Falco. A paparazzi photo of them kissing leads to a fake engagement that turns into a real situationship. Cinelli deftly created a story with layers that didn't feel like too much. She didn't shy away from the sexism of the profesional racing world while still letting the focus be the main characters who had their individual issues to deal with. This book was exciting and fun. Highly recommend.
Another good read from Amanda Cinelli. This book is well written and has an interesting storyline. It is at a length I like to read, the story is well paced and kept my interest throughout.
