Kirasu Rising #2

Collapsing The Divide

Rate this book
Reunited with her estranged twin sister and the father she had always yearned to know, Miranda aspires to accept the solace in their harmonious new life. But amidst the calm, an unshakable dread nags at Miranda’s conscience—a haunting conviction that the souls of Earth are unsettled, trapped by the repercussions of her family’s fateful decision to release Earth from its captor’s grip.

The appearance of a boy who looks just like, but acts nothing like, her lost love from Earth isn’t helping Miranda feel any better either.

When a bridge plummets from the sky, obliterating her mother’s cherished meditation spot, Miranda’s unease deepens. But worse still, her sister refuses to believe the evidence in front of her. Their father’s arrest for lying to the Senate propels the sisters to find the one person who can clear his name and stop the escalating devastation. Instead of answers, Miranda faces down a force presumed dead, crushed by her own mother during Earth’s fall.

Miranda has a Save Nibiru and her father or risk it all to fix their mistake?

Fans of young adult dystopian fantasy will love this action-packed story where redemption carries a price, myths crumble to reveal truth, and forgiveness becomes the ultimate catalyst for change.

A founder of Nibiru who helped split Earth and Nibiru originally has unimaginable power which he has used
to destroy and rebuild Earth over and over and the people who live on it, but his diabolical plan went much further as Miranda and Monrovia discover in this exciting book that follows Without A World!

Life on Nibiru is shattered when debris from Earth starts pelting Nibiru. Trying to make sense of it all
leads to only one conclusion- Alois wasn’t destroyed when Beda fought and died battling him!

With accusations accusing their father of treachery and being responsible for the destruction currently raining down on Nibiru, as well as themselves, the girls enlist aid to get them to try and reach their mother’s friend, Lau.

Tragedy and betrayal surface as their father is arrested and Lau also loses her life but not before directing them towards the hope that could save the planet.

This book, like it’s predecessor is based on what one’s choices and actions can result in not only now but in long term as well!

It’s a story I enjoyed even though I had hoped some things would have worked out differently than what happened. I do recommend you read both books as
you need the first one to understand who and why things are happening like they are in this continuation
of this series.

It points us towards trying to live a better life and work in harmony with each other!

Be in the Now
If we want our home to be a healthy place to live, we need to keep it healthy.
There are sooooo many things we can do regarding less chemicals, less consumerism, less extinction, less waste, etc.
Architecture to address ventilation, buy locally, edible dishes & utensils, fixing rather than replacing, grow your own, herbal remedies, low-tech solutions, native plants, preserving food, renewable energy, slow cooking, and trading. No cardboard boxes for toothpaste tubes!

Correct the misuse of the word Recycle:
Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose.
There is down-cycling; there is no up-cycling.

Mental health days are also important.
Fresh air and sunshine! Biking, camping, hiking, swimming, walking. Games and sports. Gardening for flowers and/or food. Laying out by bodies of water or in a yard.

Fave lines:
‘If you want to live in a good world, you have to work to make it good.’
OR ELSE ‘[face] the cold retribution of the universe’!

May we all use our gifts to save lives.

Allow a full long day for this action-packed PG dystopian paranormal quest set mainly on Niburu, Earth's surviving twin. I had an ARC via StoryOrigin and this is my voluntary review
