What do we really know about our past? When and why did ancient civilizations disappear? Who built the pyramids? Will Noah’s flood ever return? When will be the end of days? This book answers these questions and many more. All over the world we find evidence for the existence of a lost but highly developed civilization. However, archaeologists deny these facts. Legends tell us about natural disasters caused by a planet or a dragon that flew close by the earth. Astronomers deny the existence of such a planet. But that planet exists. It is seen. There are pictures of that planet. Worldwide we find the same symbol that refers to that planet. Legends, myths and the Bible tell us about the recurring disasters caused by that planet called Nibiru. New evidence, that supports this theory, is found in America and all over the world. Much of it has never been shown before. And recently, astronomers confirmed the existence of a ninth, but yet invisible planet in our solar system. When will Nibiru return? In this book you find the unique Nibiru Cycle Chart, a timeline that shows when Nibiru crossed our solar system and when it will return! This is the pattern of our past and future. Now we can understand when a Previous Civilization existed and why they disappeared. They may have left behind important information for us. We need to know the whole truth about our history, although it is unpleasant.
The book is one of many that states that there is a planet in our solar system, beyond the orbit of Pluto, that has an elliptical orbit that brings it past the Earth at times and, depending on how far it is away from our planet when it passes, can do almost no harm to doing major harm to our planet.
What it basically falls under is that 'you see what you want to see' as far as the 'evidence' cited in the book. It also ignores the fact that any planet-sized object coming through our solar system is very likely to cause problems in the asteroid belt and the Kuiper belt which would have result in asteroids being thrown from their orbits and possibly hitting the Earth. There is no evidence such a thing ever happened.
The author holds that Noah's flood (which itself was actually a series of floods that took place a the same time, probably caused by an impact in Greenland around 12,000 BCE.)
One thing to keep in mind is that old civilizations were not stupid and that they kept a close watch on the skies for various reasons. They had constellations, various structures that could note the beginning of certain seasons and even built some pyramids that were aligned with certain stars.
If there had been periodic dangers caused by a rogue planet then it's very likely that it would have been noted probably each time it 'passed by' whichever civilization was alive at the time.
Also, if something had passed relatively near to the Earth then why is the moon still in orbit? Any planet-sized object passing close would have very likely disturbed the orbit of the moon which would have resulted it becoming a rogue moon, probably long gone by now, or worst case it would have crashed into the Earth.
The book simply does not have the solid scientific evidence to back up what it claims.
This book is undeniably interesting. However, at times he stretches a little too far to prove a point. While I certainly see similarities between symbols from different cultures in the past, when he starts looking for messages he stretches way too far and confuses symbols with deep spiritual meanings with these messages he's searching for. The gyrations he goes through here to make these fit his theory are wondrous to observe. Actually, we don't need them. He has enough interesting evidence without all this and they tend to shut down the more rigorous thinker as well as those to whom the symbols have spiritual meaning.
As a reader of the books by Von Däniken and Sitchin, I was completely surprised by the author's statements about the development of mankind and the disasters on earth. This is the first time that I have presented a convincing account of the historical development in this book. of the earth and humanity. And in a convincing and logical way, I liked the efforts of the author, Ad Roest, to put the incredible number of textual representations and illustrations that exist worldwide into factual context with the actual subject of the book. All in all a very interesting work, with convincing arguments.
Many ideas are presented, but the math doesn't add up. The author says we have thousands of year until Nibiru returns. But if the exodus was during l crossing 1447 bce , then again in 44 bce called Caesars comet it is only 1400 years between crossings not 3600. Sit it should behave crossed again in 1360 or so. Or if every 3600 years from 1447 bc. So the Author doesn't know when!
The author has got many, many facts wrong. One of the most glaring is that the Exodus occurred during the crossing of Nibiru. Since the Exodus occurred about 1400BC his timeline for the next crossing is way, way out. For what it's worth, the Exodus coincided with the eruption of Thera (Santorini) hence the ten plagues. And the other incorrect facts? Too many to mention here.
Very insightful and of the connecting of events...
I picked this up to read and help me fall asleep as i need to read to let go of my day and relax. NOPE! That certainly didnt happen. I read this whole book in one setting as i couldn't put it down! The dots that are connected make much sense. And i nevrr felt comfortable with the dates in the bible either.
Perhaps we don't believe all that is said here. II do believe there were many advanced civilizations before ours. Clearing the slate, so to speak is one way to reset the scales of time.
This book is about a fascinating theory with clear evidence that the world will encounter great catastrophes. Ad Roest dives deep with clear evidence of what is yet to come. Maybe we really should start putting our minds together to survive as a species versus to survive for only our lifetimes.
I have always wondered why it seems like the planet's in our system are basically in one plane. In this theory there are one or more in different planes that spend most of their time in the outer reaches of the system and even with eccentric orbits rather like comets have. However according to this we do have 5000 years or so before what passes for civilization is endangered.
Thought provoking to consider the possibility. Makes sense and aligns well to stories from cultures of the past that current science and religion haven't connected the dots.
