Many people have found homoeopathic remedies to be safe and effective and want to know more, keen to take responsibility and participate in their own healing. Colin Griffith’s book provides the information required with authoritative and comprehensive, yet accessible information, explaining how homoeopathic remedies work, which treatments work for which ailments and when professional advice must be sought.
The first part of the Handbook answers the most frequently asked questions on homoeopathic treatment. The second part is made up of 27 sections, each covering a different aspect of health, starting with Accident and Emergency and going on through every aspect of the body and emotions, with suggested remedial action, back- up suggestions and recommendations and referral to other therapies where necessary. There are also chapters on pregnancy, coping with difficult children, what to do when travelling abroad and the importance of diet and nutrition. The third part lists 50 of the most commonly needed remedies for acute conditions that can be safely kept in the house and how to store them. With information on diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure, this is an invaluable addition to every home.
Good basic text on homoeopathy for the home user. Commonsense too, as it points out that sometimes the most appropriate first aid is found in the emergency department of your local hospital.
You could find this book helpful if you want to utilise homoeopathic remedies for some of the minor events we all experience at home (like bruises).
I have found this to be one of the most comprehensive, detailed yet most easily accessible books for the home prescriber. I have both book and kindle versions as it is THE book I take with me away from home. Highly recommended!
