I found the book an interesting concept in introducing children into the world of an animal and the pictures were bright colorful photographs. The pictures were a bit better in this book than in one of the other books in corresponding with what the author was actually talking about although there were a few pictures that didn't belong.

Although informative as well as easy to read and understand, this book was rather sloppily organized - bouncing from one subject to another bouncing back. Some parts of the subject matter was inconsistent or could have been used to clarify the subject matter if it had been combined together.
