Mr. Git has discovered a new hindrance, it's called Big Car, Little Women Syndrome. This syndrome relates to short women who drive huge 4X4 cars. Somehow, they think they own the road because they have a big flashy car, but the truth is, the car is a hindrance and the woman driving it is suffering from a syndrome ...
Marc published his first book in October 2011, he just wanted to give it a try just to see if anyone would read it. After 3500 downloads through a kindle promotion, inspired him to write more books.
Marc, who suffers from cerebral palsy always tries to make the best of his condition. Every day is an uphill struggle, but he smiles through the pain to try to help others. Even though Marc struggles with his learning disability he still tries to write a lot and even if he makes mistakes he has great support on hand from his friends and family who proof-read many of Marc's publications.
This is the first one of the GIT books that I've read, and I did enjoy it very much. GIT's observations are accurate and are related with a pungent wit, although he never crosses the line into a full-on rant.
I did think it could have been a bit longer; I'd have liked to see the idea pursued into the writer's speculations on why these women are like this, or perhaps into how the syndrome expresses itself in other areas than driving. I'd expected something like that, and it brought me up with a shock when it suddenly came to an end after just two screens on the Kindle. It left me feeling a bit unsatisfied, and there was certainly enough in the idea for it to have been developed more. I'd have liked to see at least 1000 words. I know from reading Mr Corn's other work that he is well capable of developing an idea analytically.
One must remember, though, that all of these GIT articles are offered free, so one can hardly complain on the basis of value for money. I certainly plan to download all the others.
