Remaining relevant and employable in a changing world
For many years I have enjoyed going for job interviews. It's weird I know. Now I spend a huge amount of my time interviewing people and helping companies create truly amazing teams of top class employees.
Seeing the job hunting process from both sides of the table has helped me to create a set of ideas I believe every tester should be aware of to secure themselves good jobs, impress in an interview and remain relevant in today's shifting economy.
This book is a collection of ideas and thoughts about how to go about learning new skills, finding good jobs, applying for jobs and performing well in interviews. And yes, there is an occasional mention of certifications.....and how not to rely on them.

An absolute must read for any young professional. The book goes over practical tips in order to find employment, stay on the cutting edge and provides insight on the good habits required to become something special.
This is my go-to career book, I've been through it around five times now and each time pick out a piece of advice to implement, such as re-drafting my CV regularly without a specific need for it in sight.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Rob and can tell you he most certainly lives by the words you read in his book.
