It was nice. I personally have learnt a lot by reading it.
The issue I faced is that stuff was not properly and thoroughly explained in the book which may make it difficult for newbies to understand.
I had experience with doctrine a little bit which was not a big deal for me. But for people completely new to doctrine may raise some questions.
There were stuff which were only mentioned, which could have been explained.
