First of all - if you're looking for a 'quick' and 'detailed' guide to physics, I suggest trying to find something else and don't think to start learning with this book. This textbook is definitely not suited for that purpose due to the sheer breadth of information contained inside.
An enjoyable book to read, I used it to prepare for my master exam. However many of the answers to the practice questions are wrong which can waste a whole lot of time and when I bought the book, it didn't come with an answer guide and it wasn't available online as well. I would highly recommend the book but is certainly for more able students.
I think this is a great textbook for all students to use as it details all key concepts of physics using easy to understand methods. I think it describes things really well and is incredibly useful for students.
It is very easy to understand. I am a 14-year old, who has studied many different kinds of motion and now moving on to fields. With this book my life became a hundred times easier. :)
Thou shalt not pass unfair bias comment on school books (one day I may be brave enough to re-read them and give a fair unbias comment...but don't hold your breath) but I will try and rate them as fairly as possible
