35 year old self made billionaire Bruce Wilson is a fierce New York businessman, also known as "The Hottest Bachelor of the Year".
Rich, handsome and powerful, there is nothing in this world he cannot have. He's a go getter. Whatever he demands, he's got to have it.
Nobody handles his exceptations better than Jennifer Stuart, his 28 year old assistant. Jennifer is smart, independent and dynamic. She's the most driven and hard working young woman Bruce has ever met.
However, his last request is something that even Jennifer cannot accept. For the first time in her carrer, she refuses to comply and decides to teach a lesson to her boss...
A decision that will affect the rest of her life in a way she would have never expected.
L.N. Pearl is the author of The Dark Billionaire series, and would love to add "is a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author"... but decided not to, out of modesty.
L.N. loves billionaires' sexy stories because it makes life so much more convenient (Why being stuck in traffic when you can simply take a helicopter? Duh!) and also more exciting!
Well This book deffinitley left me wondering what was going to happen.. Boy is my wish list getting longer..there was surely some hot scenes. ANd you sure do wonder how long before she realizes she has taken it too far.
What the heck did I just read? They both sorta suck, although Bruce sucks more. This whole Eastern European wife thing really pisses me off - probably because I am not a fan of Eastern Europeans, and I have seen plenty of them to support me. Poor little rich boy, if you want a decent wife, just effin take some time off and travel incognito to the middle America! And if Jennifer wanted to tell him to eff off and leave her the hell alone on her vacation, she should have just done it. And you can't teach a lesson to a thirty five year old who is full of himself - you leave it to life. The whole story really feels wooden and sucked out of the thumb.
This book was okay. I found myself thinking the plot was a bit absurd and after reading it I feel kind of...eh.
It's a quick read and tells the story of Jennifer, who is the assistant to sexy billionaire Bruce Wilson. She's worked for him for five years and is getting ready to go on a well-deserved vacation that's been a long time coming. Unfortunately though her plans fall through and she receives a strange request from her boss.
Basically she gets pissed, tries to teach him a lesson and pretends to be someone else. She sticks with her charade when he doesn't recognize her and develops feelings for him. They do the dirty and shit hits the fan.
There were some grammatical errors and I didn't feel a connection between the characters or any depth to the story. The storyline was a little crazy in that I don't think it'd happen and the fact that Jennifer and Bruce acted immature/made dumb decisions at times when they're supposed to be mature adults was a little frustrating. Also, the intimate scenes could've been written better. If I see wet crotch, pole and woman juice one more time I'll die a little inside lol.
It was okay. Not awful but not fantastic. Since it was such a quick read I'll probably read the second part to the story so I can find out what happens.
I was only about 44% done with this when I gave up. I gave up because I find it totally unbelievable that a person who has been working with you for years, wouldn't recognize your face just because you changed your hair color and hair style. Regardless of how self involved the Billionaire is- you are his personal assistant, how can he NOT recognize your face? I call bullshit. In any event, I am also slightly curious to see if at the end it was all just a ruse and he recognized her (obviously) from the beginning and just played along to humor himself. I haven't decided...but I hope it's the scenario I described because otherwise, I am going to lose my shit at how ridiculous this book is.
It was alright. Short 50 pages and a cliffhanger on the free version . Bruce was the typical male billionaire ( handsome, 6 pack, huge *rod* ). Jennifer must have been kicked in the head to think a new hair color and haircut fooled anyone. The sex scenes were okay. I got a tad worried she was peeing herself since 47 pages of 50 she was wet. Must be a viral infection. I may read book 2, but I'm not in a hurry.
For a short book, this one is perfect!..The story progresses fast but with emotion and cleverness..The characters are unpredictable and it's fun to wait and see what they'll do next...
The characters are sexy and the story is fresh and different..
The best thing about this book is the beefcake on the cover. I couldn't finish the book. There's too much tell, very little show. The boss is immediately and thoroughly obnoxious and his assistant, our heroine, is an idiot. Don't get me started on the compositional errors.
This book was just ok. It had me a little intrigued, but it was very short. I was leary at first to even read it because it is a long series. The storyline and plot had me intrigued to maybe read book 2. However the female character bothered me and was presented as very immature.
I really, really hated the dialogue in this book. I really, REALLY did. It seemed SO fake and very unjustified.
However, on the hotness of awesomness scale, this was awesome. She is a very smart individual and I'm glad she stuck up for herself! Great and terribly FAST read!
Typos I can deal with but did this girl really think she'd fooled him. She fell for her own ruse and then blamed him for going along. What a waste. Will not continue the series. Would not recommend. I want to forget I ever read this book.
Omg... This book is just sooo interesting... I cannot believe Jennifer pretended to be someone else to just get back at her boss to just end up falling for him instead... I can't wait to read the second book to find out what's happens next.

I've read a lot of books this year and this us to be among the worst series I have read. The main characters are just terrible! No warm and fuzzies what so ever. Why Jennifer puts up with all that he does is beyond me. Glad that it was a free download I might have asked for my money back.
