Adult siblings Timothy and Rosita couldn’t possibly be more different. Timothy, the eldest of four, is a Holy Spirit filled believer whose daily walk with the Lord has grown to become naturally supernatural. By grace through faith, he operates effortlessly in the gifts of the Spirit; On the other hand…his younger sister Rosita, to her peril, has flirted with New Age Spirituality for far too long. Under the tutelage of her “spiritual adviser” Rosita is drawn more deeply into the occult than she ever bargained for.
When Timothy, Rosita, and their brothers, Robert and Dexter, attend the reading of their father’s last will and testament, the siblings learn that Timothy will inherit their recently deceased father’s massive fortune, leaving the rest of them with nothing. The quarrelsome upheavals that subsequently ensue threaten to destroy the family bonds that were once impervious to scandal and controversy.
As the sibling rivalry escalates, Robert’s alcoholism intensifies; Dexter seems unconcerned by the lack of an inheritance because his illegal “business dealings” fund his lucrative lifestyle; Timothy’s faith is tested as he tries to show his brothers and sister the authentic life-changing power of Jesus; and Rosita (Robert’s twin) continues her disastrous plunge into New Age Occultism—a diabolical counterfeit of the anointing. As Rosita plays a dangerous game with forces of darkness she does not understand, the family is plagued by unexplainable occurrences that threaten their safety and even their lives.
Can Rosita be rescued from the grip of evil before it is too late? Will the siblings continue in their destructive lifestyles, or will they receive their true inheritance of eternal life in Jesus Christ?

It took me 3 days to pick up this book to read off my table and when I did, I didn't put it down until I was done reading in later that night. This book made me laugh, cry, and look at my life a different way. I was already aiming towards The Lord but it opened my eyes and confirmed that I need to open and surrender to God. I have suggested this book to all my Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and church family. Yes that's how good it is. I gave it to my sister to read and from her to my sister-in-law then my Pastors wife. You guys its not a long drawn out boring books it's short and spicy. Go out and purchase one and I promise it's worth your time to read. You will be entertained. I'm ready for part two!!!
This book is about the lives of four grown siblings and their mother. It presents their individual persoanalities, strengths, and weaknesses, and chronicles the spiritual warfare and spiritual growth they experience, each in his or her own way, after the death of their father. This book reminds me slightly of Frank Perretti's writing because of the emphasis on the spiritual realm and the way demonic and angelic activity are represented, etc. I did not agree with the author on a few points, but still found the book interesting and thought provoking.
I received this book through the goodreads first-reads program, but the viewpoints represented in this review are my own.
At first I was hesitant, reluctantly I started reading the book and to my surprise I did not want to put the book down. I just couldn't stop reading it. The characters came to life I felt like I got to know them and began to have compassion for them. The story line is consistent makes you want to examine your life. The book offers non stop excitement and insight it is truly entertaining. Excellent!! Job! Brian Williams, looking forward to hearing more from you in the future. Thanks for the GOODREAD!
This was one of the best Christian fiction books that I've ever read. I didn't want to story to end. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves the Lord and Christian fiction. This book will make you stop and examine your life in Christ and make you want to draw closer to him each day. Keep up the great work Brian and I look forward to reading more from you. May God continue blessing you as you share his Word in writing.
I really liked this book. In my heart of hearts I wish the author would turn this into a series.
I chose this book for no other reason than to catch up on my reading challenge. I finished it because I simply could not put it down.
I struggled in the earlier chapters as everything felt like I was dropped in the middle of something I knew not what. I also felt that all of the characters could have been developed more as well as their stories since it is a stand alone story.. Things like Pam's suicide and not felt rushed over and incomplete. Maybe we could have read the letter, delved into mire of it, like how it was even discovered she had committef suicide. The mission trip was disappointing, definitely needing more meat. it read like a check off list or at best a journal entry of bullet statements.
Don't get me wrong. it was a good story and kept my attention but it could have been way better. It left me with.so many questions and unresolved plots that I have to say it left me wanting more.
I would consider reading something else from this author
