R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is one of most demanding analytics, data mining, big data software. It is because of extensibility, and the growing use of R this book is written.
Though I have used lot of books related to software R, I have not found one which is very comprehensive which can teach us both statistics and its applications. I am really impressed by the pedagogy they have followed.
Key strengths of the book
1. Anyone who is confident in using basis R can refer to this book for improving their knowledge in statistics and its applications. Those who are planning to get on to business analytics, predictive modeling field can find this book a great help.
2. Simple English with lot of relevant examples
3. Bottom up approach
4. Most updated tests used at this point of time in the industry.
5. Very good reference for topics on regression analysis and predictive modeling
6. Last but not least I liked the last part of the book “consolidation” which quickly revises the second half of the book to give grip on topics covered.
