Viva le difference!

Not sure if that's how you spell it..if you like reading about a husband who becomes totally subservient to his domme wife, then this is an excellent read showing how to train a man in a FLR.

Wow! That Was Awful.

As quality authors in this genre are few, when one appears with an intriguing bio and positive reviews, I feel high hopes. Those hopes were dashed! Other than boredom, this story conveyed no emotion whatsoever. ( is boredom an emotion? ) I can only give one star if something is so bad that it cannot be finished. Regretfully, I did manage to finish this one.

Allison and Elliott are a married couple, on vacation. Allison is not just a little annoyed by Elliott's roving eye -- she is beautiful and wants his attention reserved for her, as she is his wife.

While at dinner, they happen to be seated next to another couple, Krystyna and Glen. It becomes more than obvious that Krystyna is very much in control of her husband and Allison asks Krystyna for advice while in the Ladies' room.

What follows is a tour of female dominance. Ariane Arborene suggests that Elliott has always had cravings to be dominated and Allison has always wanted to dominate her husband, but I just cannot believe it, as the lifestyle they are leading does not speak to that. Elliott loves golf and is highly involved in men's sports. While this does not necessarily preclude submission in a male, just a "general feeling that he would like a dominant woman" doesn't give me enough of a backstory to really believe that he is a submissive man.

Likewise, Allison is invited by Krystyna to hurt Glen, a submissive masochist. Allison instantly becomes a sadist with no backstory that would lend any believability.

The scenes are hot; Allison is quite the little sadist and Elliott instantly becomes compliantly masochistic.

For me, this book gets three point five stars. It is a good read, but the character development just did not convince. The ending is really neat, though.

This was a short read and it was cutesy for the genre. I enjoyed it but it wasn't very deep or emotionally moving.
