Gives a good basic introduction to Philosophy.

The thing that is amazing about this intro to philosophy text is that Halverson presents both sides so convincingly. When I first read it for my intro to philosophy undergrad course I was convinced so many times, only to be flipped right to the other side of the argument when I read the next section of the book. It kept me from feeling swayed one way or another by the author and allowed me to make up my own mind.
