Notice: The next book written by this author, Alan Trevennor, which is "Experimenting with AVR Microcontrollers", is actually the second part of this book. Do not purchase it if you already have this book.

Review: This is a great book for whom having a background knowledge in Arduino platform as this book uses the same microcontroller used in Arduino Uno board, and the code samples in this book is written and compiled by Arduino IDE.
If you know how to work with Arduino and want to do what you have done so far by naked AVR microcontroller, this is the book you must read.
There are two downsides in this book though.
The projects get so easily unpractical as they are mostly home-made projects and too dirty to be educational.
Also, the text is too theoretical and conceptual. I would be more fascinated if I could find more code samples and more practical projects.
