This is a great family book. A mother duck notices she has an extra egg in her nest. She keeps it and when they all hatch she has a baby turtle. She does not mind she adopts him and the others make fun of him. One day on the beach the ducklings need his help and they get rescued. Shows kids morals and that you should never tease others. I could ask my kids about friendship and why it's not nice to tease or bully.
