Do you believe in luck?
No, I believe in strange accidents

The Piano is a great book and a very simple way of narration of Antony Evans's life story. His life's turning point began after he started to work under Wood's farm when he found an old shiny piano in the midst of rubbish. So he was really lucky enough to meet a good farm owner and most cardinals was the part that Antony himself so much dedicated to inflame the hay of his desire into becoming a great musician.

A very short warm and classic story, the words are very simple and easy to read and understand. Its also a legend of a musician. God will open another for you while closing one window. The rich maybe will not be rich forever, so do the poor. But, the most important thing this story telling us is: NEVER STOP WORKING HARD.

It's been nearly twenty years since I last read the book, but it's as beautiful and moving as it was then - something about the memories of going chapter by chapter during 1st Grade English lessons and the freedom of delving into the book once home from school is unforgettable and beautiful.. I would recommend that everyone read the book at least once for it invokes a nostalgia for a time gone long past ( p.s: being 6 or 25 does not at all affect the feelings such a first or a repeat reading is likely to invoke so please don't hesitate to pick it up if you need a quick and easy but good read with all pun intended)

This was a really touching story. I didn't know what to expect when I first read it but for some reason it really got to me.
The story was a journey the led a poor farm boy to become a world class pianist. Although it was short, I couldn't help but feel the eagerness of this young boy and his love for music.

Wonderful story, that I don't regret reading. It's been years or rather, I'm not sure I ever did this, that I chose a book to read, based on it's summary, but I don't regret it with this one, even though it's a short story. :)

I have finished reading this for 54 min.
The story was formed with old memory of Sir Anthony Evans, main cast of this story.
He actually had amazing talent, but his effort made him such a happy life filled with love, I think.

It's quite a story for ESL learners like me. The book is about another geniune musician and how he makes his own success and obtains his lover. If you are an ESL learner, this is a recommendation for enchancing your reading skills regarding the length and lexical resources.

4. Do you have any thing which makes you addicted or interested in so much?
―――Yes, I have. For me it's camera. Scince I was a high school student, I've been interested in taking pictures. I started to have a camera with no particular reasons, but now it's my biggest hobby and I beleive it will be the forever hobby in my life.

5. I really liked this story because I was moved by the ending. At first I couldn't find the connection between the boy who worked at farm and the piano, but gradually I noticed the piano was the thing that changed the boy's life. I liked the expression "When his fingers touch the piano, he begins to play. He closes his eyes and the music comes to him - and the music moves his fingers." I could feel the magical power of the piano, so it was interesting for me. I learned it's important to be interested in something and make an effort to do my best.

4a. Favorite passage
"But one day I shall be rich and famous. Then I'll come back again, and I'll ask you to marry me." She gave me a long, loving look. Then she laughed. "Oh, Anthony," she said. "Don't wait until you're rich and famous. Ask me now!" So I did-and here we are!
4b. Anthony was so poor however Linda was rich girl so firstly it was impossible love when they young. Though old piano their love started. Finally they are married. 4a was story when Anthony ask her marry so o choose this heartwarming passage.
5. At the first half, there are a little about piano so I didn't understand what is related to piano. The accident that Anthony found a old piano and that was unnecessary for farmer changed his life. That part of story is not impression thing however at the end of story Anthony and Linda married so it wad heartwarming.

7. Musician

"Where are you now, Mrs Lark?" He thought. "Do you remember Tony Evans? You gave us a lot of happiness, Mrs Lark. Thank you. Thank you." His hands flew over the piano keys. Beautiful sounds filled the theatre.
This sentences from when 'Tony' played the piano in the competition and perhaps when he became 'Anthony'. I chose this sentences because I believe the most delightful or unforgettable memory gives huge impact to the person's future.

I love this story. It is using so beautiful English expressions such as "The music sang in his mind. It travelled along his arms. His fingers danced over the keys. He was in another world."
It just amazing and made me feel clean. One thing I learned from this book is everyone has a talent, and they are waiting for you to be discovered.
