Awesome introduction to state space control design! Intuition is built incrementally through common examples encountered in each chapter's problem set. The author's style is fun and engaging in what is, admittedly, pretty dry subject matter.
A decent reference for basic control theory and state space formalism. Currently using this book to teach a Junior Engineer and I've have had good feedback from him.
