This is a terrific book of poems/lyric essays/photographs rethinking/reimagining the ecology of the city, in this case Baltimore. Without illusion, with hope, they are both inner meditation and active engagement with the world outside. Jennifer Wallace has a great eye and ear. I'll walk with her anywhere.
