I picked up this book because it had nice color examples and the feel of the pages is not gritty or too thin. It's a nice book for someone getting started with Excel 2010 and covers the basics:
Creating Basic Worksheets
Creating Formulas and Functions
Formatting and Printing
Formatting Data
Storing and Managing Tables and Lists
Exploring Financial Functions and Scenarios
Working with Math, Statistical and Text Functions
Creating and Formatting Charts
Working with Pivot Tables
Correcting and Validating Data
Protecting and Sharing Data

There are 354 pages of information--including the index. Nicely laid out and in the typical Dummies style, humorous at times. The CD has some premade files to practice a lesson and I had no problems with the book or the CD.
