Wisdom from the Inner Oracle: Why Humanity Must Evolve, by Mohammed Ali Ejaz, is a contemplative book that tackles several weighty matters that tend to preoccupy humanity. The author articulates some of the biggest questions that make us lie awake at night, such as what the purpose of our lives might be, why we suffer, and what might be required for humanity to evolve.
The point must be made that the author’s conclusions are purely speculative. However, if you’re on a quest to uncover the answer to some of these massively important questions, this book is a fine place to start.
Ejaz posits the answers to some of the most pressing questions about existence, but he doesn’t insist that what he thinks is the gospel. He merely explains his personal beliefs about what it takes to make the most of our time on Earth, how to live purposefully but simply, and how to avoid unnecessary decadence. Those are all admirable goals, and this book does an exemplary job of suggesting models of behavior that any decent human being would be glad to imitate.

This is a book that made me reflect on human evolution in a different and unique way. Through incredible stories, the author explores the idea that true wisdom comes from within, from our own intuition or sixth sense. The book takes us on an introspective journey, urging us to look beyond the surface of our everyday lives.
The way in which it is written is friendly, making it easy to connect with the ideas presented. Although some concepts may seem a bit spiritual, the author manages to convey them clearly and convincingly. The narrative flows naturally, making the reading enjoyable and involving.

Good nuggets to be found here
This book very much feels like reading the endless sermons of a street corner preacher - BUT - there are some great nuggets of wisdom that I appreciated. Much of the book is about the depravity of today's society, the evils of money and greed, etc. But there are some beautiful parts, like how we as a society should get back to embracing the feminine, and having men and women be in power alongside each other. I also appreciated that the author talked about the masculine and feminine energies as being a part of all of us, and not restricted to "man" v. "woman." I also enjoyed the discussion on how time is our most precious commodity in life and that we should not waste it working soul crushing jobs, and that being at one with nature is vitally important.

Very dense life lessons
The author of this book makes a case for turning away from the materialistic world around us and seek true happiness and enlightenment from within us. The book has a good message but here is a sample of the writing: "By acknowledging one’s past mistakes and viewing them as stepping-stones toward the evolution of their consciousness rather than burdens to be scorned and lamented upon, a great power of transmutation can be harnessed that drives one toward self-improvement in all areas of their life with the ability to cultivate the willpower and dedication to make one’s life ambitions a shining reality." This is just an example of the heavy writing within this book. While it is good, it slows the reading down and makes you ponder so much that it almost becomes a struggle to make it through.

Mohammed Ali Ejaz takes an extensive and detailed look at what humanity in its current state is doing wrong and how we can overcome the problems that are currently holding humanity back. This is the author’s first book, so it is perhaps not surprising that it could have been even better with further polishing and editing. However, there are some interesting points made in this volume. The readers will be made aware of things that they have not thought of before. They will be led to do soul searching and after completing the book, they will want to improve themselves to help improve humanity as a whole. This book gets a solid four out of five stars from me.

This is a great read to enjoy in the last days of the year, especially because of all the goals setting and “new beginnings” that make readers reflect on many things. I really empathize with this adventure of self-discovery and I truly believe that's the way to do life in a more meaningful and powerful way. I think if there are readers trying to embark on that journey, this is a really good book to do that. It touches on many hard topics and it helps guide the reader in their own path.
This is a refreshing read and I highly recommend it to anyone really; it is a one way road into self-discovery.

Wisdom From the Inner Oracle makes a few good points as to how we can improve as human beings and how to help lift the consciousness of humanity as a whole. However, I do not like the fact that the author writes in a way that would make it appear that only those who are “guided by the calling of their heart and the whispers of their soul” will be “reunited with eternity”. That sounds like an elitist attitude to me. However, most religions have this exclusive belief. It would seem that only those who follow their religion in a certain way will make it to heaven. I prefer to think that there are “as many paths to God as there are souls”.
