Great pictures, exciting to young readers. Helps create interest in more information about these snakes.

June 27, 20151) Zits from Python Pit is the Twin Text. The author is M.D. Pain and it was published in 2015.
2) I felt these two books would support each other because Pythons is a factual book that will give the student a lot of knowledge to increase their schema about snakes/pythons. The students can use this knowledge to help them understand and connect with Chris as he is trying to defeat the pythons in his story.
3)The text structure in this text is description and question and answer.
4)For your students, they should make a KWL chart prior to reading both books and add information to the chart as you finish each text.
