Excellent instructions on doing hardanger embroidery for the complete beginner, including diagrams for left-handers. There are also diagrams showing how the back should look if the stitching is done correctly. And there are hints on how to recover from mistakes.

A basic course in this type of embroidery. A pattern for sample squares is included or you can choose to make sachets to practice the designs and six designs are provided at the back of the book for this as well.
