I believe that this book could be one of the finest assets in a person's home. There are many forms of healing, many forms of elimination, many building programs. Once we learn about it all, then there is a matter of sitting down and finding how we can grow out of our misery, out of our disease, and find a place in life whee we find good health, where we find contentment, where we find what relationship the mind has to the body and what relationship the body has to the mind. We cannot expect sweet thoughts on a sour stomach, but we have to recognize that the brain is the one that controls every activity in the body. To put it under control and to make the proper play at the proper time with the knowledge that we have is the thing that will keep us in good health. And above all, to start the moral path as suggested in this book, is one that is needed so much. - Bernard Jensen
There is more than one author in the Goodreads catalog with this name. This entry is for Richard ^4 Anderson, Herbalist, Nutritionalist, Author.
In 1983, Dr. Richard Anderson was close to death with severe memory loss, devastating fatigue and pain. After various healing attempts, he went into the wilderness to fast and pray. Sudden and unexpected results occurred with his inspired discovery of a unique combination of herbs that allowed for thorough cleansing and revitalization of his internal organs.
A series of unusual events further developed Dr. Anderson's exceptional method of healing, based on internal cleansing, which promotes ongoing states of remarkable love and happiness. Rich went on to develop the Cleanse Thyself™ internal cleansing program as well as many other herbal formulas for Arise & Shine Herbal products, a company he founded. He has written two books and several booklets based on his experience and research. Rich is well-known for his colon cleansing theory and for the superior products that he creates.
A whole lot of wonderful, eye-opening stuff, but, while I learned so much, unfortunately coming out of it, I would choose to always speak first with any person I passed a copy on to. I misunderstood 2 or 3 key elements of the program, which sure, could've been made MUCH clearer in the book, but have definitely learned to listen to God speaking through my intuition at times over anyone else, no matter how much I have grown to trust them. And sure, twas my first cleanse, and was definitely God's path for me to have all the lessons learned that I did, but while there is so much love in the books, I do not like the anger. And I afterwards have had to work on letting go of feelings of anger myself, because of both my own experience and of hearing that perhaps one of the stories in the testimonials that really got me thinking "Wow! This is amazing!" my healthcare provider said he found out was not true 10 years ago, and even as the book has been updated, has not been removed. Several people have died using this program, although I understand that every circumstance is unique, and my doc is still helping one patient who did the cleanse 10 years ago and still has not gotten her period back. (Don't worry, my issues I'm working with him with will be back to normal and better than ever really within the next week! I've already suprised him with the rate at which I'm improving!) So, rather than passing on the book, I would prefer to recommend a great wholistic health practitioner, doesn't mean the act of cleansing on all physical, emotional and spiritual levels isn't great, it just takes knowledge and help. And to be fair, even this one has changed many lives for the better.
