This children's beginning book teaches young students colors in English and Spanish. I love the basic illustrations and the fact it is teaching colors in both English and Spanish. I would definitely use this book in my classroom. I would somehow incorporate fine arts where the students could pick a color, write it in both English and SPanish and draw their own illustration. Also, this is a book I would keep in my classroom library for students to look at. I would use this book in a pre-kindergarten or kindergarten classroom.

"What Color?" by Alan Benjamin is a great beginning children's book. This book is very creative because it tells you the color in English and Spanish. The pictures are simple, but to the point and are easy to understand what they are. This book would be great to use to show the different languages at a young age. I would use this book in a kindergarten class. I would also keep this in my classroom library so that my students could practice the Spanish words.

This is a bilingual book. This book intrigues young readers while helping them build vocabulary and an awareness of the world around them. This book features good illustrations and thoughtfully chosen words. I would use this book in my classroom to show the connections between Spanish and English. I would definitely use this book with an ESOL student to help them learn English.
