A very concise overview of the major AI / machine learning algorithms and libraries using Python. A total beginner can use this book, even if your knowledge if Python is limited. It’s a non-technical book about a technical subject. If you like very short explanations interlaced with humor, this book will appeal to you. I would’ve rated it a 3 but its approach is very unique. Every example has a short, non-technical overview followed by a simple working code example. The goal appears to be to get one up and running with AI quickly, leaving the math and details for other books. From that aspect it’s a nice survey. I have to wonder if this book itself was written by AI. There’s almost no information about the purported author. Even if they wanted to be anonymous, perhaps some statement about their credentials or experience would have established more authority for readers. The only reason I could “trust” this book is that I have read others and I did run the code examples. Right now it’s free on Kindle Unlimited so that made this a bargain.
