About the author

Richard J. Martin, MD is Chief of the Center for Neonatology at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and Professor of Pediatrics, Reproductive Biology, and Physiology and Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine. His main area of expertise is developmental respiratory neurobiology, concentrating on neonatal respiratory problems.

Dr. Martin has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed health journals and is frequently invited to lecture internationally to both scientific and clinical audiences. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Physiology by the American Physiological Society and is a permanent member of the HD-Study Section of the National Institutes of Health. He is an author of Fanaroff and Martin’s Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine: Diseases of the Fetus and Infant, 9th Edition.

Good at the time -- when I was first working on C/S installation. Now there must be better.
