This book is full of many great ideas and offers insight on the behaviors of children in the fourth grade. I will implement some of the ideas including morning and end of day meetings. I'm going to do most of the "traditional" teaching in a circle group. When the students are actually working, it will be done primarily at their desks. These were ideas I was already planning on using, but this book has made me more confident to go on with my plan. It's an easy read and I would recommend it to any new fourth grade teacher.
