The basic cycle of Hierarchical activity runs in 100 year periods. There are two main Hierarchical conclaves in each period. The next one will occur in 1975. At that time the degree to which we have solved our world problems will be assessed and the rate at which the consciousness of humanity can be safely expanded spiritually, will be determined. Any changes in Hierarchical action will be scheduled. What the Hierarchy can do depends on what humanity has done. Christ is coming not to save us but to help us save ourselves. We therefore have about five years to improve world conditions before the next Hierarchical conclave. There will surely be some improvement. How much? This book contains the edited and enlarged material presented by the author in four London lectures which were published under the same title in London. Additional new material has been added in this printing, bringing it up to date.
