Pfeiffer (now incorporated into John Wiley & Sons) is one of the oldest publishers of material in Organizational Development. This publication is a wonderful and relatively updated view of the discipline, starting with issues and models in OD and then dedicating a whole section on the process. It puts change within the context of OD, an aspect that has been debated in recent years, with certain proponents arguing that change is a discipline in its own right.

This book is recommended for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners in the field of OD.
