This book has a predictable rhyming scheme for all but the last page then, hilariously, the pig is told to "stop moaning Pete." It ends the book brilliantly for adults. Flo looked bemused. She *did* like the fluffy blanket that covers Pete on the cover and the fluffy bunnies who tickle his tummy to keep him warm.

A pig in a blanket usually means lunch. But this one has a piggies on a farm who needs a blanket to keep warm. Warm hearted effort, but the ending leaves one feeling cold. Still, plenty of areas where kids can touch cloth areas to feel for themselves what piggie needs to cover himself...before in time he himself is turned into a...covered dish. Awww.
