It's probably my age which is starting to show, but things like this make me happy, this is a book covering algorithms from the '88 and it contains everything any course on datastractures and algorithms given decades later will also contain. It brings it in a technology agnostics way, even though periodically the authors mention some of their 88's benchmarks and bottlenecks which any modern hardware won't even adjust its clock frequency for.
