Reviewed by Kerri: If you're looking for a quick read with lots of heat, this is one for you. I found the relationship between Sean and Brian to be believable and again, the sex was very hot and well written. The story itself is endearing and I had no issue staying interested as I kept reading. I do have one complaint. I found the narrative a bit hard to read. I felt like I was being told a story whenever the story veered from the dialogue. I like to see in my mind a story playing out when I am reading, and often the narrative prevented me from doing so.
While the first two short stories in this series were okay, I found this story to have major flaws, especially one scene in which one of the main characters beats up another man in a bar bathroom and urinates on him and eggs on other bar patrons to do the same. Kicker? Main character is a cop! Not what I want to see in a "romance" novel.
