In diesem Band der Proxima-Logbücher ist die Expedition der Großnopfe zusammen mit Marchenko, Adam und Eva im Epsilon Eridani-System angekommen, auf einem jungen Planeten der Leben trägt. Die Handlungsträger, Adam & Eva, erkunden diese Welt und das Wunder der Evolution, dies ist auch das Thema des populärwissenschaftlichen Artikels von Brandon Q. Morris. Die Fantasie dieses Bandes ist wieder herausragend, was aber nicht unbeding für die Handlung zutrifft, wer sich für die spekulative Außerirdische Evolution interessiert, kann diesem Band einiges abgewinnen, ansonsten hält sich die Spannung in Grenzen...

Evolution and dragons!
They land on a planet circling another red dwarf which may allow for survival. Marchenko attempts to grow genetically engineered sunflowers to show that life is possible. Meanwhile Adam and Eve explore with Ragnor. They go through a jungle and across a mountain range to try and reach a beach. However, Eve has seen a large flying object several times though unfortunately no one else has..... That is until they reach the beach!
A mixture of science, evolution, action and adventure make for another fun story in the ongoing tale.
