Okay book. It lists common personal development tips and briefly discusses their importance. Would've liked it more if the book elaborated on the the importance of the self-improvement tips.
I would recommend this to a person who is just getting into the personal development genre. Not an informative read for an individual who has already invested some time into the personal development genre because this book is a compilation of rudimentary personal development tips; this means, it'll serve as a reminder of what you already know instead of it being a book that'll provide you with new insight.
This is not a great literary work; in fact it could have fit in a pamphlet. However, the 20 rules are a great checklist for those who are brave enough to challenge the status quo and pursue their dreams. Many rules will be common sense and allow you to skim through the chaper. Some will challenge you to dig deeper and that's where the true value of this book becomes apparent.
There are rules that we were taught that do not apply today, so we need to apply different rules. Get out those forgotten dreams & dust them off! You can create the life you want, but you've got to take action!
