The introduction of 20 pages by Bharat Whaklu would be sufficient to know what the others have written or to get the whole gist of the book.
The selection of certain 'personalities' of dubious ethical values like KGB,LKA to write the articles cast a shadow over the very intention and title of the book-"Restoring Values". Its like a blind leading a blind. I found it quite satirical and hilarious when dear LKA quoted himself from his book- 'My country, My life', saying people nowadays join politics neither as a mission nor as a profession, but as pure commerce.
There are well written articles by APJ Abdul Kalam and E.Sreedharan which are well intended and with ample examples to drive home the point they were making. my verdict: not an awesome book.but a quick reader to get an idea of certain maladies in Indian administration and the need for inculcating ethics in administrators and politicians.
