This book is basically two stories in one, the tale of the two brothers on vacation, and their personal lives. There are sections of history that go over their childhood, their struggles and their journey into adulthood. I found the trip part somewhat interesting, but I really enjoyed the family stories. I found it fascinating to get a real look at one of my favorite authors life and it was interesting to see what he was dealing with when different books came out.
