Okay, yes, it's dreadfully old fashioned, but dreadfully interesting. While the elaborate introduction rules in the last chapter are quite quaint, most of it reads like good dating advice today: respect yourself, be interested in what the other person has to say, don't be negative all the time. In fact, aside from the occasional moment when it will mention hat and garters as part of being fully dressed for a date, it reads like The Rules or The LDS Girl's Guide to Getting a Date.

Er....not that I've read those....
