Being too familiar with one person makes you a stranger to the rest of the world. p. 27--the first line that resonates with me so far...
Its unusual structure is unlike anything I've read so far. The shifts in voice make me unsure where we are or who is in the scene sometimes. The writing and the thoughts are often quite beautiful so due to its non-linear ways, I actually like opening it randomly and just reading a passage, almost like a book of poems.
Maybe this is just too avant-garde for me but it is an uncomfortable read. I don't always want cozy and easy reads but this is hard to get attached to.
