I love that the boy in this book can dance. But learning how to be aware and respectful and to not hurt those around us is a life skill he definitely needs to address. This book would be good to read when it come to talking about different gifts and talents and also talking about how the great talent we can develop is how we treat others.
I like this book because it shows that doing what you love, regardless of what anyone has to say is fine. Conforming to the norms is not necessary in order to be happy, doing what you love is.
