John Rensenbrink brings fifteen years of active green work and 30 years of scholarly work together to Against All The Green Transformation of American Politics to present a blue print for a more democrateic and just America. Although this book could be used effectively in the classroom, it is by no means written only for the classroom. Rensenbrink does not get caught up in academic "speak", but rather reaches out to the average concerned citizen. He is both thoughtful and heartfelt as he argues for a new politics, a transformation, not replacement of the existing system; a transformation that will bring the United States into the new century well grounded in Eclological Wisdom.
