I really like Precious Moments. They are so clean, adorable, and innocent, perfect for a storybook bible. Your little ones will be enraptured with the stories, songs and pictures in this beautifully bound book. Every story is illustrated with the Precious Moments characters and are very colorful!
Not only are there easy to read stories of the bible, such as David and Goliath and Jesus' Birth and the Wise Men's Visit, but there are also songs and prayers for your child to learn and sing. There are also special sections for family record, whom the book was presented to and from who, and words of praise and wisdom. Perfect to share with your child or for gift giving, this Storybook Bible would make a fabulous addition to your home library.

As a mother to two little girls, I am always looking for great family books that we can share together, and I have to say this book is one that I love! Precious Moment's Storybook Bible, which is put together in a hardbound book starts off with a dedication page where you can put who the book is for, and from. Then it provides a place to enter your Family Tree info, Church info, favorite things & table of contents.
Designed for children, probably preschool age and up, the book is divided into four sections: Favorite Bible Classics (Adam & Eve, Noah's Ark, Baby Moses & more!), Words of Praise & Wisdom, More Stories of the Faith, and Songs & Prayers (you can even add your own at the end). It has beautiful illustrations that bring each of the stories, songs & prayers to life for your children.
I really liked how the book could be personalized for your child, and the size of font (14) which would be perfect for early readers. And at the beginning of every story, it said where it was located in the Bible. I would definitely recommend this book for any family that has young children - it is a must have for any Christian family to own :) The illustrations are wonderful, and the stories are ones that I would love to share with my own girls as they grow up. This would be a great gift for any child, or even for a grandparent who loves Precious Moments!

I recently received a free copy of “Precious Moments Storybook Bible” from Thomas Nelson Publishers through Booksneeze.com in exchange for a honest opinion on what I have read.
To start off I know we have all at one point seen one of the many precious moments books or coloring books, the pictures are colorful & beautiful. My four year old loves it, I have started reading it to him before he goes to bed, I want him to learn Gods word in a way that appeals to him, this book has definitely caught his attention.
The stories included (to name a few) are: Favorite Bible classics such as The garden of Eden, Noah & the Ark, crossing the red sea, David & Goliath, The empty Tomb, Joseph sold into slavery and of course stories of Jesus. There also is chapters on words of praise and wisdom, songs and prayers and more stories of Faith.
The story doesn't stray from his word, it makes it more appealing to the young and to the old. The book has pages for a family tree, Church record and a place to write your child's favorite things.

I am very familiar with Precious Moments, and although I am not a huge fan, I was interested to receive this book.
To begin, this book is a lot nicer than what I was expecting. It is larger than I thought it would be (around 8x10 size), and it has more stories and other things than I thought it would have. The illustrations are beautiful, in keeping with the style of Precious Moments. It also has a nice section in the beginning for a Family Tree and other records.
