Run, don’t walk . . . as far away from this book as fast as you can and never look back.

The title brought hope. The back cover brought curiosity. Unfortunately, they were the only parts worth reading.

This book reads like stream of consciousness, with nothing in chronological order. Much is simply reprinted material from news articles. But, that’s not to forget the random conversations the author has at cross-country meets that she somehow feels appropriate to include.

In an effort not to be completely negative, I highly recommend this book if you have a wobbly table. It appears to be slightly over one inch thick.

A very intriguing & interesting collection of historical research. While I have "shelved" this book as finished, I fully expect to be referencing the wealth of information again and again.
Wonderful work Ms. Foody, thank you...
