My employer uses Microsoft's Test Manager to track our testing process. Although I knew there were features we weren't utilising, I was surprised at some of the functionality I've been oblivious to. Generating Coded UI tests from test runs, and managing VMs means the software is more advanced than I gave it credit for. There's also loads of report generation which I've never used, although that's not something I look at in my role. I guess it illustrates that you should spend a bit of time understanding the software available to you to fully take advantage of it.

I think I made a mistake with this one. This was not what I was looking for. It contains a lot of specialized language; and is more suitable for college students. The examples are clear; though; but I am not such a serious developer as the serious stuff they depict here.

An excellent book which describes in precise detail the workings of Test Professional for Visual Studio. If you want to go hands with step by step help, this is the book for you
